    Afghanaid commissioned these designs in support of an event held in London in late 2009. We aimed to give the impression of a flattened cardboard cut-out mountain range whilst incorporating the earthy colours of the wild Afghan terrain.

    This party marked the end of an era. The Adelaide was a much loved venue in North London and the closing party was billed as a wild night of abandon where anything went. We hoped to express a sense of urgency by depicting the approach of the wrecking balls.
